We all know that mornings in any house can be pure mayhem when you feel disorganized and rushed. Try out these three little, simple night-time tricks to help make your mornings go a bit smoother.
1. Check your calendar.
Ensure you’ll not be surprised by a 10am appointment reminder at 9:45. Take 2 minutes to check your calendar and talk with any household members who could impact your day.
2. Make a quick to-do list
Try to quickly jot down 3-5 things you want to accomplish the next day. Make one of them a promise to yourself that you will take time out of your day to focus on being happy.
3. Shoes by the door.
No, seriously, just put your shoes by the door. You’ll be glad you did. Feeling like an overachiever? Go ahead and add keys, bag, hat, whatever, so it’s all right there for you to have in hand as you breeze out the door. You’re probably singing and skipping at this point.
