A billboard in Lima, Peru produces drinking water by condensing humid air and putting it through a purifying process. A team of engineers from Peru’s University of Engineering and Technology (UTEC) have discovered how to turn humid air into usable water.
The billboard produced about 2, 496.42 gallons of drinking water in the first 3 month period, an amount that equals the water consumption of hundreds of families per month. Now that’s what we call innovation.
