Protein shakes are a great way to get a whole bunch of nutrients on the go. This “Brain Power Protein Shake” is packed full of calcium, vitamin C, fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants and more to power up your body and your brain for the day. It tastes great and your whole family will love it!
Ingredients (per serving):
1/3 cup plain yogurt
1/3 cup almond milk
1/3 cup apple juice or cider
1/2 banana
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
1 tablespoon Organic Chia Seeds (fiber and omega-3 fatty acids – don’t worry, they are tasteless)
1 tablespoon Organic Flax Seed Oil (fiber and omega-3 fatty acids)
1 cup frozen fruit – strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, cherries, etc.
Directions:
Toss all ingredients together in a blender, mix together until smooth and enjoy!
