From music to exploration and everything in between, Denver is buzzing with family and children happenings all around town.

Denver Botanic Gardens Family Activities

If your kiddos haven’t been to The Botanic Gardens in while, now is the time. Their calendar is jam-packed with classes, tours and special events. We are particularly impressed with Seedlings: Signs of Spring, a course that gets kids close to the ground to find bright green shoots, spring crocus and other new discoveries. It’s the perfect excuse to let them get their hands dirty. Also look for family education classes, highlighting what to grow in your garden for the summer.

Have a Tony Award nominee in-the-making? The Denver Center for the Performing Arts has rolled out with a set of productions that are fit for the family. This season will be sensational. With favorites such as “Annie” and “Beauty and the Beast” in their line-up, there are sure to be smiles, laughs and gasps from everyone in your crew. See their full calendar and ticket pricing at denvercenter.org.

And don’t forget, the Denver Art Museum is now FREE for all kids ages 18 and under. This new program is dedicated to impacting the youth through colorful and vivid visuals. For further information and how to be involved in the program, please visit: denverartmuseum.org/visitor-info/free-for-kids
