Kids Can Explore Their Creativity At This Free IKEA Event

By Whitney Blakeslee

Denver parents! We would love to see you at this FREE family event on August 5th!

We hate to be the ones to burst this lovely summer bubble, but kids will be heading back to school in a few short weeks! This is your reminder to plan those last few hiking trips, park picnics, and pool dates. To celebrate the final days of this beautiful season, we would love to invite you and the kids to join us for another FREE family day hosted by IKEA Centennial! We’ll meet on Aug. 5 in the restaurant from 12-4PM to engage in a fun activity that will ease kids back into the school mindset.

We’ll be getting ready for school by creating a homework file that kids can take home to hold their papers and projects! Let your kids explore their creativity using IKEA’s colorful markers, paper, and other supplies to decorate their homework file. Kids can set up their new homework file on a desk or table to stay organized in the new school year. Who knows? Maybe letting their artistic skills run free will inspire them to remember to keep their papers all in one place. A parent can dream, right?

Not only will you take home your new organizational file, but IKEA will be giving The Mother List readers a FREE Knalla backpack and set of Mala gel pens! Just respond to the Facebook event here, and show your RSVP to a staff member when you get there.*

WHEN:  August 5th, from 12-4pm
WHERE:  IKEA Centennial in the restaurant
Centennial CO 80112
WHAT:  A FREE craft for the kids!

*One per family, while supplies last.
