Vivienne Harr is the youngest person ever to speak at TEDxFiDiWomen. She talks about how she started a lemonade stand to raise money to end child slavery. Her vision was big, she wanted to raise $100, 000. So, rain or shine, she worked her lemonade stand for 365 days straight. Her moment became what is now the “Make a Stand” movement, which has been covered by news media around the world.
She is now bottling & selling her organic, Fair Trade “lemon-aid”—becoming the first child in American history to bottle lemonade-stand lemonade. 5% of all revenues from every bottle are given to carefully selected charities that work to eradicate child slavery. She has won numerous awards for her work and is now an honorary member of the World Affairs Council.
In an age where kids are so consumed with iPhones, television and video games, this is one remarkable young lady!
